Mini

I’ve been wanting to try this for a while now and with the help of my friend Todd I finally got to it. I had been searching for a while to find a good location when I came across this strip of road that had a double yellow line and more importantly no traffic. I wanted to try this so bad I was actually considering getting all my settings on the camera and lights and then having Todd zoom by ;) on a not so busy street, shoot a few frames and then move everything while trying to avoid traffic. There’s no way it would have worked. I’m glad I found an alternative. (click on an image to see the big version)

Julie and Joe

I met Julie and Joe through a wedding I shot last year. They came all the way from California just for their engagement shoot!  Okay maybe not just for the engagement shoot. Visiting family during Easter might have something to do with it. :) They were great and put up with me running around Raleigh for a couple of hours. I know it will be here before I know it but I have to wait until January to shoot their wedding! Check out some of my favorites below.

One Year!

One year ago today I finally started blogging! I’m proud to say that I have somewhat kept it updated too. It’s also my birthday! What better way to celebrate than post some of my favorite shots from the Ray Price Harley Davidson Open House event held this past Saturday. I had a booth with a few of my large biker/car canvas gallery wraps on display. They had a huge turnout and it was cool to be a part of it!

Claire and Tim

Spring is finally here and the wedding season has begun! Claire and Tim’s wedding was a great way to start off the season. Claire was one seriously happy bride. I know most brides are but I think she smiled the whole time :). Make sure to check out the reception photos too. You can see what a good time everyone was having. I love shooting receptions like this!

Roy Lee

If you have ever been to the Dunn-Benson Dragstrip then you have probably seen this dude. He used to own it. He’s a long time friend of my wife’s family. I met up with him and my brother-in-law at his shop to get a few shots for my booth at the Ray Price open house next month. The area behind his shop has a bunch of older cars that have been parted out which made for a cool background for the photos. I think the best part was he had a story behind every car there. The kind of story only a long time car guy could tell. It was great.
