These are a few of my favorites from the AHDRA Jim McClure Nitro Nationals at Rockingham Dragway last October. These things are crazy loud and crazy fast… so fast that the top fuel bikes are pretty much riding on one wheel the entire race. The rider steers by shifting his body from side to side. They also wear bullet proof vests in case the motor blows up. Yep, crazy dangerous.
So far the fall and winter have been amazingly warm but right now it is freezing outside! Here are a few of my favorites from a child portrait session I did when it was a much warmer day. These two made it easy!
Check out our family Christmas card! It only took about 10 tries before I got one I really liked. The camera was on a tripod and set to timer while I ran around, picked up the tree and got into position. Ten times. Luke was all about it and Andrew was done after the second or third try. I kept cutting off the end of the tree or the branches made weird shadows on my face. It’s tough setting up the camera, adjusting lights, getting kids to participate and being in the shot! It was fun though. Now, what to do next year? :)
